How I Spent January 1, 2013...

For starters...

It's now a little after seven in the morning here on this first day of a brand new year, and I'm going to be adding to this entry throughout the day until I'm ready to go to bed tonight--and, if I don't break one of my resolutions, that's going to be by or before midnight (much earlier preferred), as I'm trying to get into a sleep schedule that will work best for me for at least the first part of 2013.

Last night, I went to bed at around ten-thirty and woke up a little bit after four--which is exactly the way I wanted to celebrate:  by going to sleep in one year and waking up in another.

At this time, I won't be saying much more than this except to invite you to visit my Epinions profile page while I still have my most current Christmas decor still up.  A little later, it will be changing over to a Happy New Year theme.

It will go back to various versions of Christmas decor after that through--and a bit beyond--The Twelfth Night.

On January 8, it will have an Elvis theme, as this would have been his 78th Birthday.

After that?

Well, you'll just have to keep tuning in to see.

I'm also going to be stepping up my activity when it comes to writing Epinions as well.

Time Flies When You're Having Fun!

It's hard to believe that it's almost one-thirty in the afternoon at this time!

So far, I've had a wonderful breakfast of peaches & cream oatmeal and water.  I've been decorating my Epinions profile page for New Year's Day 2013 and have that all finished now.  Besides that, I've been popping in and out at places like Facebook and Writing.com--along with (natch!) Epinions.

I had a wonderful mother & daughter talk with my mom.  We usually talk on the phone these days at around ten in the morning and seven in the evening.

It turns out that she was rather upset at not being awakened (claimed she wasn't even asleep) and taken to the phone for what was to have been our New Year's Eve call, but the nurses and I were in agreement that she really needed her bedrest more.

Today, she's much better from her urinary tract infection.

We plan on talking again this evening.

After we hang up, I'll probably eat my supper (unless I already have), work a bit more online, and, then, retire by on or before midnight.

I have so many exciting projects going on and hope to finish at least some of them by the time I'm ready to go to bed.

Most of today's projects will, likely, be online ones, but, come tomorrow, I'll be adding real life to those in the form of getting some bills paid and straightening up a bit more around here.

I have the feeling that January is going to be a very busy month!

That's all for now...
